Our winery

Facing the Pic Saint-Loup, in the middle of a wild land, the Mas de l'Oncle is as proud as it is discreet. The buildings, designed by the famous architect Rudy Ricciotti, are clad in wood and blend in with nature, combining tradition and modernity.

Completed in 2017, the wine complex is made up of 3 buildings grouping together the logistics, the wine-making vat room and the barrel cellar overlooked by the tasting area. The latter form a coherent and clear whole thanks to the cladding of the facades. The low height of the building allows the whole to be naturally hidden in the landscape.

The tasting room opens up 180° onto the vineyard and offers visitors an exceptional panorama from the front row. This alliance between wine, architecture and nature appeals to all our senses.

The story of Mas de l'Oncle is also the story of a man and a decisive meeting...

Before making his childhood dream come true, Fabrice BONMARCHAND worked for more than ten years in the building industry. This first professional life allowed him to collaborate with the greatest architects in France, including the famous Rudy RICCIOTTI. A leading figure in French architecture, he notably signed the MUCEM in Marseille, the Jean Bouin stadium in Paris and the latest work of the Louvre museum with the Department of Islamic Arts.

And like all epicureans, Rudy RICCIOTTI has fallen under the spell of the Pic Saint Loup landscape and its exceptional wines...

This is how, in 2015, Fabrice BONMARCHAND naturally entrusted him with the creation of the new winery.

"Here, there is no room for architecture. The new Chai must not impose itself, it must blend into the scenery, live in harmony with the nature that surrounds it. It is in this state of mind, shared by both men, that the new building was born...

In order to improve the reception of wine tourists and the environment of our site, particular attention has been paid to the outdoor facilities.

An educational trail and a green theatre have been created in the heart of the vineyard, to offer visitors the possibility of visiting the site independently.

As a family, as a couple, with friends, or even alone, let yourself be surprised by the magnificent landscapes of the Pic Saint-Loup. Keep your eyes open... You might find a few works of art along the way!
